For Vaucluse, our inspiration was always to create the feeling of a Caribbean haven.  This house, over looking Watson's Bay, has been an amalgamation of efforts spanning fifteen years, including the input of Interior Designer (Guru!), Marco Meneguzzi. Our favourite piece that Marco created is the custom made, oversized, ikat-print sofas (something that at that time, we were not bold enough to do - and now can’t imagine living without).  

 

It is no secret that Blue and White Style Co. have an obsession with Stuart Membery, so you can imagine our delight when finally ordering a crate load of it and making all our Carribean dreams come true. The balcony is a favourite nook for an early evening drink, hearing the water lapping below and we will never tire of the collage of John Olsen art works.

This house is a great reminder to always invest in good framing and signature pieces, like oversized lamps, iconic prints and just the right pieces of blue and white chinoiserie - things that to us, that will never go out of interior fashion.
